She recently sang her debut at the Metropolitan Opera in the role of Siebel (Faust).

Karine Deshayes also sings oratorio, performances include Le Martyre de Saint-Sébastien (Debussy) with Jacques Mercier and the Orchestre d'Ile de France, Mozart's Requiem at the Saint-Denis festival with Kurt Masur and the Orchestre National de France, concert performances of Béatrice et Benedict (Berlioz) at the Opéra-Comique with the Orchestre de Paris conducted by Marc Soustrot, with the Liège Philharmonic Orchestra and Sheherazade (Ravel) with the Philharmonic Orchestra of Radio France conducted by M. W Chung and Mozart's mess in C with Louis Langrée and Concert d'Astrée.

Accompanied by pianist Hélène Lucas, she has regularly performed in solo recitals at the Opéra National de Lyon, under the close supervision of Ruben Lifschitz.

Karine Deshayes was awarded first prize at the "Voix d'Or" 2001 and the "Voix Nouvelles" 2002 competitions. She was also nominated for the "discovery of the year" in the "Artiste Lyrique" category at the "Victoires de la Musique Classique " 2002. Karine Deshayes is sponsored by The Singer's Development Foundation

Future projects include, Zerlina (Don Giovanni) and Nicklausse (Les Contes d’Hoffmann) at Théâtre Capitole de Toulouse, Isolier (Il Conte Ory) at the opéra Nantes et Angers, Zerlina at the Opéra de Monte Carlo, Rosina at the Opéra de Nancy.
